GSLMUN 2021

Greater St. Louis MUN (GSLMUN), which was the predecessor to SLAMUN, was a huge success in 2021! Over 50 students from 7+ schools represented St. Louis leaders addressing the Delmar Divide and Lambert Airport Privatization. Although it was over Zoom, students still debated, created solutions, and found consensus on these pressing issues. Along the way, they heard from Maxine Clark, founder of Build-A-Bear Workshop and Delmar DivINe, and Jeff Smith, a former state senator and candidate for the US House in 2004, on their impact and the need for change in the St. Louis community.
