Conference Info

When and where is the conference?

SLAMUN is held on November 5th from 7:30-6:00 at John Burroughs School in Ladue. All forums are in the Brauer Building and the opening ceremony is in Haertter Hall. All buildings and rooms are clearly marked and easy to find on campus.

Where do I park?

Please park at the Price Road entrance. There will be signs guiding you to parking when you arrive on campus. Here is the location on Google Maps:

What are the topics for the conference?

The conference's overall theme is inequality. Forums include: transgender sports participation/gender affirming health care, affirmative action, gender pay gap, reproductive rights, gender gap in education, sexual harassment, inequality in healthcare, and natural resource use and environmental inequality.

What is the conference schedule?

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Registration

8:30 AM – 9:15 AM: Opening Ceremony

9:30 AM –12:30 PM: Committee Session I

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch

1:45 PM - 3:30 PM: Committee Session II

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Break

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Committee Session III

5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Closing Ceremony

Will lunch be provided?

Yes! Lunch and a snack will be provided for all registrants free of charge. To maintain an allergen-free environment, please refrain from bringing in outside food.
