About Our Conference

St. Louis Area Model UN (SLAMUN) is a student-initiated and student-led conference held on November 15th from 8:30-2:30 on the John Burroughs campus. SLAMUN seeks to connect students from around the St. Louis area to generate solutions for lasting change. Through exciting and fast-paced debate, we hope to spark a conversation about the issues that matter most in the world today. Our conference theme this year will be environmental justice. To ensure every student gets the most out of the conference, forums will be moderated with an eye towards collaboration rather than competition. We hope you enjoy the conference!
